COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Innovation and Management at the University of Sussex provides students with a comprehensive grounding in innovation, technology, and business strategy, equipping them to tackle complex organisational challenges. Core modules cover essential topics, including design thinking for innovative problem solving, digital transformations, managing innovation, and understanding science, technology, and innovation markets, firms, and policies. Students also study managing intellectual property and strategies for new product development, culminating in a summer Innovation Management Project that integrates theory and practice. Options include artificial intelligence and global digital policies, industrial and innovation policy, innovation for sustainability, innovation in the creative economy, quantitative research methods, management of risk, new venture creation, and strategic management.
