COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Particle Physics at Sussex provides an advanced understanding of both theoretical and experimental aspects of modern particle physics, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for further research or professional practice. The program begins with core modules, including Quantum Field Theory and MSc Project Research Skills, which build a solid foundation in fundamental physics concepts and research techniques. The curriculum emphasizes both independent research and collaborative learning, with opportunities to engage in Monte Carlo simulations, data analysis, and frontier particle physics projects.
