COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Business Analytics provides a comprehensive curriculum that combines analytical, technical, and strategic skills essential for data-driven decision-making in modern business environments. In the autumn term, students develop a strong foundation through modules such as Design Thinking for Innovative Problem Solving, Quantitative Methods for Finance and Business, Business Economics and Cost Benefit Analysis, and Econometric Methods 1. These modules build key competencies in analytical reasoning, economic evaluation, and quantitative analysis, fostering the ability to approach complex business challenges creatively and systematically. In the spring term, the focus shifts to advanced analytical and technological applications with modules including Data Processing, Coding and Visualisation, Advanced Marketing Analytics, Machine Learning and AI in Business: Applications and Implications, and Analytical Research Methods in Business. This combination enables students to master data handling, predictive modelling, and the use of artificial intelligence to enhance business performance and innovation. The summer term culminates in a Dissertation or Consultancy Project, allowing students to apply their learning to real-world business problems or conduct in-depth independent research.
