COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Child and Educational Psychology at the University of Sussex provides students with a strong foundation in understanding the psychological development and wellbeing of children and young people. Core modules cover key topics including contemporary issues in child psychology, the influence of family environments, child clinical psychology, educational psychology, professional assessment, and the future of children’s services. Through these modules, students gain insight into the factors that affect learning, mental health, and overall development, and learn to apply theory to professional practice. The program also emphasizes research skills, enabling students to design, conduct, and analyse studies through the ACP Research Dissertation.
