COURSE CURRICULUM

This course provides a comprehensive foundation in psychology while integrating elements of business and management to prepare students for diverse professional careers. In the first year, students explore key areas such as cognition, psychobiology, childhood psychology, and the scientific methods of psychology, alongside optional business-focused modules in management and accounting. The second year deepens understanding through core subjects including cognitive, developmental, and social psychology, as well as brain and behaviour studies. Students also develop strong analytical and research skills through modules in statistics and qualitative methods, complemented by business modules like international business environment and operations management. In the final year, students undertake an independent research dissertation and study strategy and ethics in organisations. A wide range of optional modules allows for specialisation in areas such as clinical, health, forensic, educational, and cognitive neuroscience, as well as applied topics like organisational psychology and psychology of wellbeing. These options enable students to align their studies with personal interests or career goals. The program equips graduates with a solid grounding in psychological theory and research, alongside transferable skills in data analysis, communication, critical thinking, and management, preparing them for roles in psychology, business, human resources, education, or further academic study.
