ABOUT UNIVERSITY

The University of Sussex is a public research university located in Falmer, East Sussex, England, largely within the city boundaries of Brighton and Hove. Established in 1959 and granted its royal charter in 1961, it was the first of the plate glass universities created after World War II. The university has a large, modernist campus surrounded by the South Downs National Park, providing easy access to central Brighton.
