COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Human Resource Management program provides a comprehensive foundation in both strategic and operational aspects of HR, preparing students for successful careers in the field. In the autumn semester, students begin with the Flying Start Leadership program, which introduces key leadership skills, and then build core knowledge through modules in Strategic and Operational HRM, Professional Skills and Analytics, and The Business Context. These modules equip students with the ability to understand organisational structures, analyse workforce data, and apply practical HR skills in real-world scenarios. During the spring semester, the focus shifts to essential HR functions, including Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Employment Relations, and Resourcing and Talent Management. Students gain a thorough understanding of workplace diversity, labour relations, recruitment strategies, and talent development, enabling them to contribute effectively to organisational success. The summer semester culminates in practical application through the Consultancy Case Study, where students tackle real-life HR challenges, and Advances in Human Resource Management, which provides insights into current trends and emerging practices. Overall, the program combines theory, research, and hands-on experience to ensure graduates are ready to manage people strategically, improve organisational performance, and make evidence-based decisions. Completing this MSc equips students with the skills, confidence, and professional knowledge required to excel in diverse HR roles across industries.
