COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Digital Banking and Finance program offers a structured curriculum that builds a strong foundation in both traditional and modern aspects of the financial sector. In the autumn semester, students begin with the Flying Start Leadership program alongside core modules such as Quantitative Methods in Finance, Economics for Banking and Finance, Bank Theory, Operations and Strategy, and Corporate Finance. These modules provide essential knowledge of financial principles, banking operations, and analytical methods. The spring semester advances into more specialised areas, including Derivatives, Quantitative Financial Risk Analysis, and Digital Banking with a focus on FinTech, technology, and innovation. Students also explore critical issues in Investment Regulation and Ethics, gaining insights into the importance of compliance and responsible financial practice. The summer semester is dedicated to independent research through the Research Methods and Dissertation module, which allows students to investigate a specialist topic in depth and apply the knowledge and skills developed throughout the program. This comprehensive structure ensures that graduates are equipped with technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of digital banking trends, financial modelling, risk management, and regulatory frameworks, preparing them for successful careers in the global banking and finance industry.
