COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Behavioural Science offers a structured program that combines theory, research methods, and practical application to prepare students for careers in business, policy, and research. In the autumn semester, students begin with the Flying Start Leadership program, a zero-credit module designed to support personal and professional development. Alongside this, they study Behavioural Economics I: Concepts and Theories, which introduces the foundations of behavioural economics, and Psychology of Work, which explores psychological principles in workplace settings. Students also complete Statistics with R, a 20-credit module that builds essential skills in data analysis and statistical programming. In the spring semester, the focus shifts to applied learning, with modules such as Behavioural Economics II: Business and Policy Applications, where students explore real-world uses of behavioural insights, and Evidence-Based Decision Making, which develops skills in applying research evidence to practical challenges. Additionally, the Survey Measurement and Analysis module equips students with expertise in designing and analysing surveys, an important tool in behavioural research. The summer semester is dedicated to a 60-credit dissertation, where students conduct independent research on a topic of their choice, applying the concepts and methods gained throughout the year. This combination of theoretical grounding, applied learning, and independent research ensures graduates are well-prepared to use behavioural insights effectively in diverse professional contexts.
