COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Cyber Security, Threat Intelligence and Forensics program provides students with an in-depth understanding of modern cyber threats and equips them with the technical and analytical skills to combat them effectively. Through modules such as Cyber Forensics, students learn how to investigate cyber incidents, recover digital evidence, and analyse system vulnerabilities to prevent future breaches. The Information Security in Practice module focuses on real-world applications of security frameworks, policies, and risk management strategies used to protect critical data and infrastructure. Privacy and Network Security explores the design and implementation of secure network systems, addressing key issues such as encryption, authentication, and data privacy. The Cyber Threat Intelligence module introduces advanced techniques for identifying, analysing, and mitigating emerging cyber threats using intelligence-gathering and data-driven approaches. The program culminates in a research or practical project, allowing students to apply their acquired knowledge to solve real-world cyber security challenges.
