COURSE CURRICULUM

The Accounting and Finance postgraduate program provides a structured approach to developing advanced financial knowledge and practical skills essential for professional success. In the first trimester, students focus on financial accounting and corporate finance, gaining a solid foundation in the principles of recording, reporting, and analysing financial information, as well as understanding how organisations manage and structure their financial resources. The second trimester builds on this foundation with management accounting, equipping students to use financial data for internal decision-making and strategic planning. Alongside core modules, students can tailor their learning by selecting two elective modules from options such as corporate governance and ethics, FinTech, international finance, and banking and financial regulation, allowing them to specialise in areas aligned with their career goals. The final trimester is dedicated to the dissertation, placement, or internship, offering students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a practical setting, develop professional experience, and engage in independent research. This combination of theoretical study, applied learning, and elective specialisation ensures that graduates are well-prepared for careers in accounting, finance, consultancy, or further professional qualifications, with a comprehensive understanding of financial management in both national and international contexts.
