COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Drama Production for TV, Film, and Digital Media program is structured around a set of core modules that combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience. Creative Development Projects encourage students to generate and experiment with original ideas, fostering innovation and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives. Media Theory and Practice introduces key frameworks and critical perspectives, helping students understand the broader context of drama production and the evolving media landscape. Collaborative Projects emphasize teamwork and interdisciplinary cooperation, reflecting the real-world demands of the creative industries and developing skills in communication, leadership, and project management. Advanced Production Practices provides in-depth training in the technical and creative aspects of production, including directing, producing, editing, and post-production processes, ensuring students gain the practical expertise necessary to create professional-quality content. The program culminates in the Major Project, where students select either a Practice Research Project or a Dissertation, allowing them to undertake an independent, substantial piece of work that integrates their learning and showcases their personal vision and professional capabilities.
