COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLB Law degree offers a structured and comprehensive program designed to equip students with both foundational legal knowledge and practical skills essential for a career in law. In the first year, students build a solid understanding of core areas including contract law, tort law, criminal law, public law, and legal ethics, alongside developing key digital legal skills, legal writing, and analytical abilities. The second year expands into specialized areas such as public law, European Union law, land law, and legal professional development, while allowing students to explore optional modules like commercial and consumer law, human rights law, intellectual property law, and media law. In the final year, students can choose between two routes tailored to career focus. The first route emphasizes practical legal application through modules such as equity and trusts, civil and criminal litigation, company law, and law in action, with additional options like family or employment law. The second route offers a broader selection of advanced modules including AI and law, medical law and ethics, environmental law, competition law, and criminal justice, alongside a legal research project and practical client care experience. Throughout the program, students combine rigorous academic study with practical insights, preparing them for professional practice, further legal training, or careers in public service, consultancy, and related fields.
