COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business Information Technology program is a three-year undergraduate degree designed to equip students with the skills to integrate technology into modern business practice. In the first year, students develop foundational knowledge through modules in digital and business skills, understanding organisations, business information systems, data analysis, business intelligence in practice, and exploring the future of business. These modules establish a solid grounding in both management principles and the practical use of digital tools. The second year builds on this foundation with professional development, project management, web and mobile application development, and a live project integrating business and IT concepts. Students also have the opportunity to tailor their studies through optional modules such as business intelligence and dashboards, legal aspects of business, applied econometrics, contemporary marketing issues, the digital workplace, Young Enterprise, or an internship, allowing for specialization and practical experience. In the final year, the focus shifts to advanced topics including business ethics and sustainability, business innovation and digital transformation, leadership and management in business IT, innovation and entrepreneurship, strategic management, and a major business IT project. Optional modules such as big data analytics, information security management, technology innovation, investment management, or internships provide further customization. Overall, the program combines technical expertise, management knowledge, and practical experience, preparing graduates to lead digital innovation and manage technology-driven business solutions effectively.
