COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business Economics program is structured over three years to provide students with a strong foundation in economic theory, business practice, and professional skills. In the first year, students develop core competencies through modules in digital and business skills, data analysis, economic analysis, understanding organizations, business finance, and the future of business, establishing the essential knowledge needed for further study and practical application. The second year expands this foundation with professional development, microeconomic analysis, business intelligence and dashboards, project management, international economics, and a live project in macroeconomics. Students also have the opportunity to tailor their studies by selecting optional modules such as legal aspects of business, applied econometrics, business accounting, contemporary marketing issues, sports business finance, the digital workplace, or an internship, enabling specialization and practical experience. In the final year, students focus on advanced topics including business ethics and sustainability, industrial economics, leadership and management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and strategic management. Optional modules in areas such as big data analytics, climate change, information security, investment management, technology innovation, applied game theory, or an economics dissertation allow further customization and in-depth exploration of interests. The program emphasizes critical thinking, analytical skills, and practical problem-solving, preparing graduates for careers in economics, business management, consulting, policy analysis, or further academic study, equipping them with the knowledge and experience required to navigate complex global business environments.
