COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Architecture program is structured over three years to provide a balanced development of creative, technical, and professional skills. In the first year, students build a foundation in architectural design, history and theory, practice, and design technology, developing essential skills in design thinking, spatial understanding, and technical literacy. Design studios encourage hands-on exploration of architectural concepts, while theory and practice modules provide contextual and professional knowledge. The second year expands on these fundamentals through advanced design studios, multidisciplinary practice projects, and continued study in design technology and architectural history and theory. Students are encouraged to collaborate across disciplines, applying practical and theoretical knowledge to solve complex spatial and design challenges. In the final year, students focus on integrated design projects, advanced design technology, and the study of contemporary architectural theory, alongside professional practice modules that simulate real-world architectural environments. This final stage consolidates learning, emphasizing critical thinking, technical competence, and creative problem-solving. By the end of the program, graduates are equipped with a comprehensive portfolio of design work, strong analytical skills, and practical experience, preparing them for professional practice or further study.
