COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business Management with Law program is a three-year degree designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both business management and legal principles, preparing them for careers in diverse professional sectors. In the first year, students develop essential knowledge through modules in understanding organisations, legal systems and digital legal skills, contract law, data analysis for business, law for business students, and the future of business, establishing a solid grounding in business and legal frameworks. The second year expands this foundation with specialized modules including media law, legal aspects of business, employment law, project management, business intelligence and dashboards, and a live project in business law, giving students practical experience in applying their learning to real-world scenarios. Students also choose between professional development or legal professional development modules to further enhance their skills. In the final year, advanced study focuses on business ethics and sustainability, AI and law, leadership and management in business law, innovation and entrepreneurship, and company law, alongside strategic management. Optional modules such as big data analytics, climate change, information security, technology innovation, investment management, or internships allow students to tailor their learning to individual interests. The program equips graduates with a unique combination of business acumen, legal understanding, and practical skills, ready for careers in corporate management, legal consultancy, compliance, or other professional roles bridging business and law.
