COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Digital Business and Data Analytics curriculum provides a balanced combination of business, technology, and data analytics knowledge to prepare students for data-driven decision-making and digital transformation roles. The programme begins with foundational modules in Business Data Analytics, Business Domain and Requirements Analysis, Business Informatics, and Business Intelligence and Data Mining, which develop skills in analysing business problems, managing information systems, extracting insights from large datasets, and applying data-driven strategies. Students also gain exposure to Python programming and academic study skills through pre-study courses. In the second phase, learners can tailor their studies through optional modules covering areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics in Business, Digital Health and Data Analytics, IT Project Management, Organisational Dynamics and Systems Thinking, Marketing Communications in Virtual Worlds, and Digital and Sustainable Supply Chains. These modules explore emerging technologies, machine learning, digital transformation, project management, organisational strategy, and industry-specific applications of analytics. The programme concludes with an independent dissertation project, allowing students to conduct research, analyse real-world data, and develop practical solutions to business challenges.
