COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Applied AI for Business pre-study course suite at Henley Business School, delivered via the FutureLearn platform, provides foundational knowledge to support students entering an AI-focused business programme. The modules are designed to build both technical and business understanding of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital systems. AI and Data Analytics in Business (INMR81) focuses on evaluating the business value of AI and applying data analytics to develop technology-driven business solutions. AI Software on the Cloud (CSMASC) introduces core concepts of AI, software engineering, and cloud computing, with emphasis on designing and deploying scalable AI applications. Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (CSMFAI) covers machine learning methods such as supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning, while also developing transferable skills like critical thinking, teamwork, and ethical use of generative AI. Business Data Analytics (INMR95) introduces tools and methods for data-driven decision-making in organisations. Business Informatics (INMR91) focuses on information systems, business processes, and the design of IT solutions to meet organisational needs. Problem Solving with Python (CSMPSP) develops computational thinking and programming skills through practical exercises and projects. The suite concludes with the MSc Dissertation (INMR78), where students undertake independent research in Applied AI for Business. Overall, these modules combine business strategy, AI theory, and practical computing skills to prepare students for advanced study and careers in AI-driven industries.
