COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Finance (Investments) programme at Henley Business School within University of Reading provides a structured progression from foundational financial knowledge to advanced investment and risk management skills. In the first year, students study core modules such as Introductory Securities and Markets, Introductory Economics for Business and Finance, Introductory Quantitative Techniques, and Ethics in Investment Management, alongside Accounting for Managers and a Finance Trading Simulation. These modules build understanding of financial systems, banking, markets, economic behaviour, and quantitative analysis, while introducing ethical considerations and sustainable finance.
