COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business and Management (Entrepreneurship and Innovation) programme combines core business management education with specialist entrepreneurial training, preparing students to launch their own ventures or drive innovation within established organisations. In the first year, students develop a strong foundation in business by studying management theories, marketing, accounting, data analytics, and professional skills such as communication, business writing, and career development. During the second year, the programme focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation through modules covering business strategy, organisational behaviour, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship practice, sales and business development, and digital entrepreneurship. Students learn how to identify business opportunities, develop innovative ideas, create business models, and test their concepts using lean start-up methods and data-driven decision-making. In the final year, students gain advanced entrepreneurial expertise through modules in financing entrepreneurship, personal leadership development, and applied entrepreneurship, where they work on their own business ideas, develop prototypes, and gain practical experience of creating and managing a new venture. The programme also offers a wide range of optional modules, allowing students to broaden their knowledge in areas such as international marketing, private equity and venture capital, information systems and digital business, corporate strategy, project management, global ethics, financial statement analysis, and business evolution. Opportunities to study languages and university-wide modules further enhance students' global outlook and interdisciplinary understanding. Throughout the degree, students develop creativity, leadership, problem-solving, communication, financial management, and strategic thinking skills that are highly valued in today's business environment.
