COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Politics, Policy and Leadership program offers a combination of core and optional modules designed to develop advanced understanding of political processes, leadership, and policy analysis. Core modules such as Negotiated Work-Based Learning, Political Leadership, Politics and Public Policy, Public and Political Leadership in Practice, and Researching Social and Political Sciences provide students with the foundation to critically evaluate leadership and policy implementation in diverse contexts. Optional modules allow students to tailor their learning to their interests and career goals, covering topics such as Analysing Policy Success and Failure, Comparative Legislatures, Global Health Policy and Practice, Global Issues in Gender and Sexuality, Global Politics and Religion, Globalisation, Police Powers, Political Analysis, Russia in Context, Terrorism, and U.S. Exceptionalism. The program integrates theoretical frameworks with practical applications, encouraging students to examine real-world political and policy challenges.
