COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLM International Law program offers students a thorough understanding of the principles, frameworks, and applications of international law across multiple domains. Core modules cover foundational and contemporary issues in international law, international human rights, and a substantial dissertation, providing students with the opportunity to engage in advanced research on topics of personal or professional interest. Optional modules allow for specialised study in areas such as asylum, migration and human trafficking, corporate social responsibility, international business law, corporate governance, international criminal justice, dispute resolution, environmental law, investment law, law of the seas, and international trade law. The program emphasizes critical engagement with legal frameworks and contemporary global challenges, encouraging students to analyse the role of international law in shaping political, economic, and social processes. Students examine the impact of law on global governance, trade, human rights, environmental protection, and international dispute resolution, gaining the skills to evaluate complex legal issues and provide informed solutions. Through case studies, debates, and research-led teaching, students develop advanced analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
