COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Geography program at Lincoln integrates human and physical perspectives to confront global challenges across three years. Year 1 builds core foundations through Earth observation, GIS, sustainable ecosystems, social-environmental justice, hazards, and spatial processes. Year 2 advances to climatology, quaternary science, data analysis, human impacts, physical geography theory, and field-based hazards, with optional biogeography, placement, or study abroad. In Year 3, students master catchment hydrology, geomorphology, coastal systems, climate policy, environmental management, and a dissertation, complemented by choices in global change biology, soil science, or overseas fieldwork. The curriculum equips learners with cutting-edge technologies and interdisciplinary skills to address sustainability, hazards, and environmental change. Graduates are prepared for roles in policy, conservation, and research.
