COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Fine Art program at Lincoln cultivates socially responsive artists through a three-year journey of creative and critical development. Year 1 establishes core foundations via bodily encounters, creative arts exploration, and conceptual frameworks, with optional modules in prose, performance, or technical theatre. Year 2 advances to place-focused studies, material entanglements, and specialist electives, complemented by options in digital performance, audio technologies, teaching, placements, or study abroad. In Year 3, students engage arts industries, investigative practice, and professional positioning, culminating in a public degree show that launches their independent practice. The curriculum fosters experimentation across media, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional skills within purpose-built studios. Graduates emerge as adaptable, publicly-aware practitioners ready to contribute to local and global artistic networks.
