COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Drama, Theatre and Performance program at Lincoln offers a flexible three-year pathway blending creative practice with critical inquiry across global styles and cultures. Year 1 builds core skills through devising, ensemble performance, creative arts exploration, and contextual play analysis, with optional studies in prose, screen, or technical theatre. Year 2 advances screen acting and directing alongside place-focused exploration, enriched by options in digital performance, avant-garde theatre, stage combat, adaptation, placements, or study abroad. In Year 3, students undertake investigative practice and a public festival showcase, supplemented by advanced choices in directing, professional production, cabaret, scriptwriting, or company formation. The curriculum fosters devising, dramaturgy, embodied techniques, and industry readiness through workshops and professional networks. Graduates emerge as adaptable theatre makers, performers, and cultural practitioners equipped for diverse careers in the arts.
