COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business degree at Lincoln provides a comprehensive foundation in core business disciplines, preparing students for a wide range of professional opportunities. In the first year, students develop essential knowledge in areas such as the business environment, organisational behaviour, marketing, finance, creativity, and data analytics, while optional modules allow exploration of professional development, business English, and cultural studies. The second year builds on this foundation with advanced study in human resource management, operations, budgeting, consumer behaviour, innovation, ethics, sustainability, and international business, alongside options for professional practice, cross-cultural management, and strategic marketing planning, as well as the opportunity for a year abroad. In the final year, students focus on integrating knowledge and developing leadership, strategic, and entrepreneurial skills through core modules including design thinking, digital business, global entrepreneurship, leadership practice, and strategy. Optional modules allow students to specialise further in areas such as crisis and disaster management, global marketing, financial management, venture creation, strategic human resource development, and independent research or client-based projects. Across all three years, the program combines theoretical study, practical application, and opportunities for professional and international experience, equipping graduates with the knowledge, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills required to thrive in dynamic business environments and pursue diverse career pathways or further study.
