COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Management is structured to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of organisational behaviour, management principles, and practical business skills through a sequence of carefully designed modules across three terms. In the first semester, students develop foundational knowledge with modules such as Academic Practice and Professional Skills, Organisational Behaviour, Business Economics, Accounting and Finance for Managers, and Management Decisions and Risk Analysis. These modules equip students with essential analytical, financial, and decision-making skills while fostering professional competencies necessary for effective management. In the second semester, the focus shifts to applying this knowledge to organisational challenges through modules such as Marketing Management, Managing Change and Uncertainty, Leading, Managing and Developing People, and Research Methods for Managers, allowing students to gain insight into leadership, strategic adaptation, and evidence-based management practices. The third term emphasises practical application and integration of learning through modules including Management in Practice, Management Project, and Managing Digital Technologies and Business Analytics, providing opportunities to address real-world business problems, develop data-driven solutions, and enhance digital literacy. Together, these modules cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and research skills, preparing graduates to manage people and resources effectively, lead organisational change, and make informed strategic decisions.
