COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc programme offers a highly flexible and research-driven curriculum that allows students to tailor their studies according to their interests and career goals. Across two semesters, students select from a wide range of specialised modules covering advanced topics in computing, artificial intelligence, software engineering, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. A core module, Personal and Group Skills, can be taken in either semester and focuses on developing communication, teamwork, and professional skills that are essential for both industry and research careers. In Semester 1, students can choose modules such as Computational Intelligence and Software Engineering, Software Measurement and Quality Assurance, Mobile and Web Applications, Advanced C++ Programming, Agile Cloud Automation, Internet and Cloud Computing, Interaction Design and User Experience, Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing, Operational Research, Network Science, and AI Security, Ethics, and Management. Semester 2 provides further opportunities to specialise through modules including Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Big Data and Predictive Analytics, Foundations of Cybersecurity, Algorithms for Bioinformatics, Generative Development, Service-Oriented Architectures, AI for Space, Technology and Innovation Management, Service Design, and Quantum Machine Learning. The programme is regularly reviewed to ensure that module content remains up to date with the latest technological developments and industry requirements, providing students with a research-inspired education that prepares them for future careers and academic advancement.
