COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Laws (LLM) program offers a flexible and comprehensive curriculum that allows students to tailor their studies to individual interests and career objectives through a combination of core and option modules. Central to the course is the Dissertation, which provides an opportunity for in-depth independent research on a topic of the student’s choosing, integrating both theoretical and practical legal analysis. In addition to the dissertation, students select four option modules from a broad range of foundational and specialised subjects, including Civil Dispute Resolution Methods, International Space Law, General Principles of International Law, Intellectual Property Law for International Business, Human Rights and the Law, Corporate Governance, and various modules addressing international migration, health law, and justice. In the second stage of study, students choose a further four option modules to deepen expertise in specific areas, such as Freedom of Expression, Contemporary Challenges in Intellectual Property Law, Commercialising Space, International Banking Law, European Convention on Human Rights, International Law and the Use of Force, Feminist Perspectives on International Law, International Commercial Arbitration, International Environmental Law, and advanced healthcare law topics. This structure enables students to combine general legal knowledge with specialised study in areas of personal and professional interest. Collectively, the program equips graduates with advanced legal knowledge, critical research skills, and practical expertise applicable across diverse legal, policy, and international contexts.
