COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc in Clinical Sciences is structured to provide a thorough grounding in medical sciences alongside practical laboratory and research skills, preparing students for careers in healthcare, biomedical research, or further postgraduate study. In the first year, students focus on foundational topics through double modules in molecular and cellular sciences, applied medical and biological sciences, and body systems, developing a strong understanding of the structure and function of the human body at both the cellular and systemic levels. The second year builds on this knowledge with advanced double modules covering body systems and applied medical and biological sciences, allowing students to explore complex physiological processes and disease mechanisms in greater depth. Practical skills, data analysis, and research techniques are integrated throughout, ensuring students gain hands-on experience and an understanding of experimental methods. In the final year, students engage with specialized topics including public health, cardiovascular and renal precision medicine, and respiratory and cancer precision medicine, alongside an analytical research project that develops independent research, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Overall, the program combines theoretical knowledge, practical laboratory training, and research experience, equipping graduates with the expertise to contribute to medical science, precision medicine, and healthcare innovation while fostering analytical and investigative skills essential for modern clinical and biomedical practice.
