COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business and Management BSc is structured to provide students with a thorough understanding of contemporary business practices, management principles, and data-driven decision-making skills. In the first year, students study core modules including personal and professional development, principles of human resource management, marketing, introduction to management, business finance and reporting, legal and economic contexts, data insights for business decisions, and AI in Business, which explores the impact of artificial intelligence on strategy and operations. The second year builds on this foundation with modules in organisational behaviour and design, strategic management, entrepreneurship, business analytics, collecting and analysing data, operations and project management, consultancy challenge, and environment, society and governance, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical business challenges. In the final year, students focus on advanced topics such as business data visualisation, big data and people analytics, alongside a year-long dissertation in business and management. Optional modules allow further specialisation in areas including crisis management, business ethics, digital business, innovation, strategic human resource management, technology and work, international business, strategic marketing, and emerging sectors such as the space economy. The program integrates analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with practical experience, preparing graduates to navigate complex, technology-driven business environments and to excel in careers across private, public, and socially responsible sectors.
