COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Management offers a comprehensive foundation in business and management, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application to prepare students for successful careers in diverse organisational settings. Core modules cover strategic management, equipping students with the ability to analyse and implement long-term business plans, and management in practice, which develops hands-on skills for leading teams and projects effectively. Operations and supply chain management focuses on optimising processes, resource allocation, and logistical efficiency, while behaviour in organisations explores the human dynamics that influence workplace performance and decision-making. Research design and analysis introduces students to essential methodologies for evidence-based management, complemented by understanding data for decision-making, which equips students with analytical skills to interpret and apply data in business contexts. CSR, ethics, and sustainability emphasises responsible and socially conscious management practices, ensuring graduates are aware of their impact on society and the environment. The dissertation provides an opportunity to undertake an independent research project, integrating knowledge from across modules and developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
