COURSE CURRICULUM

The Human Resource Management MA is structured to provide students with a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of human resource management. Core modules include Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Research Methods and Practice, Global Perspectives on Work, and a substantial dissertation, allowing students to develop advanced research skills and apply them to real-world HR challenges. The program equips students with knowledge of key HR functions, employment law, global workforce issues, and strategic approaches to managing people in diverse organisational contexts. Optional modules offer further opportunities to specialise in areas such as training and development, occupational psychology, employment relations, diversity and inclusion, digitalisation and automation in the workplace, migration and labour mobility, climate change and sustainability, and people analytics. Practical application is central to the course, with students engaging in case studies, live projects, and interactive workshops designed to develop professional skills such as conflict resolution, recruitment, mediation, and organisational problem-solving.
