COURSE CURRICULUM

The Fashion, Enterprise and Society MA offers a structured program designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills across fashion, business, and research. The course begins with core modules that develop students’ understanding of design and enterprise, including Research in Design and Enterprise, which equips students with critical research skills and methodologies relevant to fashion and business contexts. Fashion Marketing and Creative Realisation focuses on the practical and strategic aspects of fashion promotion, branding, and creative project execution, while Fashion Futures explores emerging trends, technologies, and innovations shaping the industry. Fashion Sustainability and Society examines the environmental and social challenges facing fashion, preparing students to design and implement more responsible practices. Business-focused modules such as New Venture Creation and Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Creation provide students with the tools and frameworks to develop, plan, and manage entrepreneurial ventures within the fashion sector. The program culminates in a substantial Final Major Project, allowing students to apply their skills and knowledge to an independent research or industry-led project tailored to their interests and career ambitions. This combination of creative, business, and research-led modules ensures graduates are prepared to navigate, innovate, and lead in the dynamic global fashion industry, making them capable of addressing both commercial and societal challenges effectively.
