The optional modules allow you to tailor the course to your interests and career goals, offering a wide range of specialisms such as colour design, prototyping, interdisciplinary art and design, and graphic or typographic practices. Students interested in digital innovation can choose modules in information, interactive design or AI and design, while those focused on social impact can explore service and social design for innovation. There are also opportunities to undertake major project-based modules such as the Design Prototyping and Evaluation module or a substantial Design Dissertation.
