COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Trade Law LLM provides an advanced understanding of the legal frameworks governing global commerce, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate complex trade and investment environments. The compulsory modules cover core areas including the law of foreign investment, World Trade Organisation regulations, international economic law, and research skills, alongside a dissertation that allows students to undertake independent, in-depth research on a topic of their choice. Through these modules, students develop the ability to critically evaluate legal rules, policies, and international agreements, and to apply theoretical knowledge to practical and hypothetical scenarios. Optional modules allow further specialisation in areas such as international banking law, corporate governance, tax law, cyberlaw, environmental law, and international sales law, providing a flexible curriculum that can be tailored to individual career goals.
