COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLM in International Corporate Law offers an advanced study of the legal frameworks and regulatory environments governing corporate entities and their financial and operational activities. In the first year, students complete core modules covering International Corporate Insolvency Law, Corporate Finance and Securities Law, International Corporate Governance, Postgraduate Legal Research Skills, and a Dissertation, providing a solid foundation in both the theory and practical application of corporate law. These modules equip students with the ability to critically assess corporate legal structures, governance practices, and insolvency processes while developing essential research, analytical, and writing skills. Alongside the compulsory modules, students select 60 credits from a range of optional modules, including Corporate Law, International Banking Law, International Tax Law and Policy, Environmental Law, Financial Crime, and Arbitration, allowing them to tailor their studies to individual interests and career goals. The program emphasizes the development of transferable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication, essential for professional practice in legal and business environments.
