COURSE CURRICULUM

The Intellectual Property Law LLM provides a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks and practical applications surrounding intellectual property rights, including patents, copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, and designs. The program equips students with essential skills in postgraduate legal research and critical analysis, preparing them to navigate complex national and international intellectual property issues. Core modules cover key areas such as trade marks, geographical indications, patent law, and copyright law, while the dissertation allows students to undertake in-depth research on a topic of their choice. The course also offers a range of optional modules, enabling students to tailor their studies to specific interests, including cyberlaw, international competition law, intellectual property management, digital environment law, health and biotechnology, international tax law, and arbitration. Students explore both traditional and emerging intellectual property issues, gaining insight into the legal, social, and economic implications of intellectual property in a global context.
