COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business BSc offers a structured progression from foundational knowledge to advanced global business expertise. In Year 1, you develop core understanding through modules in international business principles, organisational behaviour, economics and academic skills, while optional modules allow you to explore areas such as labour institutions, statistics, sports analytics, decision-making and entrepreneurship. Year 2 deepens your insight into international operations through compulsory modules in cross-cultural management, research methods and managing international business. A range of optional modules enables you to tailor your learning toward decision-making, legal environments, small business internationalisation or practical work experience. In Year 3, you apply your knowledge to global strategy through modules on transnational corporations and international strategic management, alongside completing a substantial dissertation. Optional modules provide the opportunity to specialise in areas such as digital work, global employment, European business, sustainable international business, logistics and global value chains. The course equips you with strong analytical, managerial and cross-cultural skills relevant to a wide range of international careers.
