COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Management at The University of Huddersfield offers a flexible and comprehensive program designed to develop strong foundations in management and leadership across a wide range of organisational contexts. Core modules include Fundamentals of Management, Fundamentals of Leadership, and The Global Professional, providing essential knowledge of management principles, leadership practice, and professional skills needed in today’s global business environment. Students gain an understanding of how organisations operate, how leaders influence performance, and how strategic decisions are made. The program allows students to tailor their studies by choosing three option modules from a broad selection, which may include Strategic Management, Leading, Managing and Developing People, Project Management, Digital Marketing Strategy, Principles of Finance, International Finance, New Venture Creation, Managing Sustainable Challenges, Emotional Intelligence for the Effective Leader, and Artificial Intelligence and Mobility. This flexibility enables students to align their learning with personal interests and career aspirations. The course also includes a Final Project, offering three routes: Research, Consultancy, or Entrepreneurship, with May starters limited to the Research Route. This project allows students to explore an area of interest in depth and apply their learning to real-world challenges.
