COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in International Business at The University of Huddersfield offers a flexible and comprehensive curriculum designed to develop specialist knowledge and skills for operating in global business environments. Core modules include The Context of International Business, The Strategy of International Business, and The Global Professional, which together provide a strong foundation in understanding global markets, international strategy, and professional practice. Students examine how organisations operate across borders and develop the ability to analyse and respond to complex international business challenges. The program allows students to personalise their studies by choosing three option modules from a broad range, including International Finance, Strategic Management, Digital Marketing Strategy, Principles of Finance, Leading, Managing and Developing People, Reward Management, Global Business and Human Rights, Managing Sustainable Challenges, New Venture Creation, and Leadership, Power and Ethics, among others. These options enable students to align their learning with career goals and personal interests. The course also includes a Final Project, giving students the opportunity to explore a topic they are passionate about through one of three routes: Research, Consultancy, or Entrepreneurship, with May starters limited to the Research Route. By combining core international business knowledge, flexible electives, and an applied project, the program equips graduates with strategic, analytical, and professional skills for successful international careers.
