COURSE CURRICULUM

The Clinical Pharmacy Practice with Hospital Placement MSc program includes a range of modules designed to build advanced clinical knowledge and professional skills required in modern pharmacy practice. Students study Applied Therapeutics, which focuses on the safe and effective use of medicines in treating diseases, alongside Clinical Pharmacy Practice, where they develop skills in patient care and clinical decision-making. International Practice and Policy provides an understanding of global healthcare systems and pharmacy regulations, while Hospital Pharmacy Practice focuses on the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists within hospital settings. Formulation Design and Development and Drug Design and Development explore how medicines are created, tested, and prepared for use, giving students insight into pharmaceutical science and innovation. A key component of the course is the Professional Practice Placement, which allows students to gain hands-on experience in a real hospital environment, applying their knowledge in patient-facing roles and developing practical skills. This placement also supports personal and professional growth through reflective learning.
