COURSE CURRICULUM

The Banking and Finance MSc offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for careers in finance and banking. Core modules cover essential areas including Principles of Finance, Investment and Portfolio Management, Financial Reporting and Company Performance, Modern Banking, Financial Markets and Institutions, International Finance, and The Global Professional, ensuring a strong foundation in key financial concepts and practices. In addition, students can choose one option module from a diverse range covering topics such as Managing Employee Relations, Emotional Intelligence for the Effective Leader, Global Business and Human Rights, Managing Sustainable Challenges, Humanitarian Challenges, Artificial Intelligence and Mobility, Reward Management, and The Circular Economy and Responsible Resource Management. This allows students to tailor their learning to individual interests or career goals. The program also includes a Final Project, providing an opportunity to explore a specific area of interest in depth. Students can select from three project routes: Research, Consultancy, or Entrepreneurship, with May starters limited to the Research Route. This flexible structure supports the development of critical thinking, analytical skills, and professional expertise, preparing graduates to address complex challenges in global financial markets and banking. By combining core knowledge, elective options, and a focused project, the course ensures students are well-equipped for a variety of roles in the financial sector.
