COURSE CURRICULUM

The Advanced Project Management in Construction MSc program includes a set of specialised modules designed to develop advanced knowledge and practical skills for managing complex construction projects. Students study Lean and BIM in Construction Projects, which focuses on improving efficiency and reducing waste through modern digital and management techniques. Procurement and Contract Management provides an understanding of how contracts are structured and managed, while Construction Project Planning and Control develops skills in scheduling, monitoring, and delivering projects effectively. The BIM at the Project Level: Collaborative Approaches module emphasises teamwork and the use of digital tools to support communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. Research Methods equips students with the ability to design and conduct academic and industry-based research, preparing them for analytical and evidence-based decision making. The program culminates in a Dissertation focused on Project Management in Construction, allowing students to explore a specific topic in depth and apply their learning to real-world challenges.
