COURSE CURRICULUM

The Product Design MA provides students with a comprehensive framework to develop advanced skills in contemporary product design through both practical and research-focused learning. The course begins with Research Methods and Project Proposal, equipping students with the tools to plan, investigate, and justify their design projects using rigorous research methodologies. Through Creative Innovation and Entrepreneurship, learners gain an understanding of how to develop innovative ideas, assess market potential, and integrate entrepreneurial thinking into their practice. The Creative Studio module allows students to explore hands-on design development, experimenting with materials, techniques, and processes to bring concepts to life while developing a professional design practice. Advanced 3D Digital Design introduces students to cutting-edge digital technologies, including 3D modeling, additive manufacturing, and virtual or mixed reality, preparing them to create sophisticated and technically proficient design outputs. The course culminates in the Product Design Major Project, where students integrate research, technical skills, and creative experimentation to produce a cohesive, innovative, and professional design portfolio.
