COURSE CURRICULUM

This course structure provides a comprehensive and balanced approach to developing both the creative and technical aspects of music production. Researching Music introduces students to critical thinking, academic inquiry, and methods for exploring music in cultural, theoretical, and industry contexts. Advanced Desktop Music Production focuses on refining technical skills using digital audio workstations, enabling students to produce high-quality music with professional tools and techniques. Mixing Audio develops an in-depth understanding of sound engineering, teaching how to balance, enhance, and finalize tracks to achieve a polished and cohesive sound. Creativity in the Studio encourages experimentation and innovation, helping students explore new ideas and push artistic boundaries within a studio setting. The Group Project promotes collaboration, allowing students to work together, share skills, and experience real-world creative teamwork. Finally, the Creative Project serves as a culmination of learning, where students independently develop and produce a substantial piece of work that reflects their artistic identity and technical abilities.
