COURSE CURRICULUM

The Animation Production MA program is structured to develop both creative and professional skills through a combination of research, practical work, and industry-focused learning. Students begin with Research Methods and Project Proposal, where they learn how to develop ideas, plan projects, and apply critical thinking to their creative practice. Creative Innovation and Entrepreneurship encourages students to explore new ideas while understanding how to position their work within the creative industries. The Creative Studio module provides a space for experimentation and development, allowing students to refine their animation techniques and artistic style. Professional Platforms Art and Communication focuses on presenting work effectively, building a professional identity, and understanding how to engage with audiences across different media platforms. The course culminates in the Animation Production Major Project, where students undertake an extensive independent project that showcases their skills, creativity, and knowledge gained throughout the program. This final project allows them to specialise in their chosen area of animation and produce a high-quality body of work.
