COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLM in International Law provides a comprehensive program that combines foundational legal training with specialised study in global legal frameworks and international governance. The course begins with Legal and Academic Skills, equipping students with essential research, writing, and analytical abilities required for advanced legal study. Core modules such as International Law and International Environmental Law offer an in-depth understanding of the rules and principles governing state behaviour, global environmental protection, and sustainable development. International Criminal Law explores mechanisms for prosecuting crimes that affect the international community, while International Human Rights Law examines the legal protections afforded to individuals and groups under international standards. International Commercial Arbitration focuses on dispute resolution in cross-border business transactions, providing practical knowledge of arbitration procedures and mechanisms for resolving international commercial conflicts. The program culminates in an LLM Dissertation in International Law, allowing students to undertake independent research on a topic of their choice, demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, and applied legal expertise.
