COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured to develop knowledge and skills in construction project management through a clear progression across three years. In the first year, students gain a foundational understanding of the construction industry, including construction business and law, design and construction practices, and building technology alongside digital communication skills. This stage introduces key concepts and prepares students for more advanced study. In the second year, the focus shifts towards project management and collaboration, where students work on a collaborative built environment project, learning how to function effectively in team-based, real-world scenarios. They also study project planning and finance, as well as building technology and digital detailing, enhancing both technical and managerial abilities. In the third year, students develop advanced professional knowledge through modules such as procurement and contract administration, professional practice, and lean construction with sustainability, reflecting modern industry priorities. A major project dissertation forms a significant part of the final year, allowing students to explore a specific area of interest in depth and demonstrate their analytical and problem-solving skills.
